Story

The origin of Pocket Estate lies in the moment when Kenta and Takumi first met as sales associates at a securities company.
As colleagues, we worked hard every day, encouraged one another, and experienced firsthand the evolving landscape of Japanese society.

What we strongly felt during that time was this:
“Japan is undoubtedly becoming more diverse.”

Today, workplaces across Japan are increasingly multicultural, with people from various countries joining the workforce each day.
As Japan faces an unprecedented population decline, we believe this is a highly positive and welcome change.

However, when it comes to “daily living” —
especially in terms of housing support — many challenges remain unresolved.

Foreigners often face multiple barriers when trying to rent an apartment in Japan:
language issues, strict screening processes, and cultural differences that can lead to anxiety or isolation.
In reality, we've seen cases where people who are unable to access corporate housing are forced to share cramped spaces with friends or live in unstable conditions.
For those trying to take a new step forward in Japan, these are significant hurdles.

That's when we decided:
“If the system doesn't exist yet, let's build it ourselves.”
And so, we founded Pocket Estate.

Our goal is to be a real estate company that provides genuinely helpful support for foreigners.
We go beyond simply listing information — we offer hands-on support that ensures clients can actually move in.
This includes not only multilingual assistance, but also detailed coordination with guarantor companies and landlords,
so that prospective tenants receive clear explanations and landlords can feel confident entrusting us with their properties.

We also leverage our core strength in web marketing to ensure that the right information reaches the right people clearly and effectively.

Above all, we believe in thinking and acting from each individual's perspective.
When people have a place to live, they gain peace of mind, the ability to work, and the space to imagine their future.
Through housing, we hope to support that starting point — even in small but meaningful ways.

We truly appreciate your continued support for our company and team.
